The ICC Cat6 EZ Modular connector is designed to be easy to install and save time. It is evident that some technicians are confused by the color coding printed on the connector thinking they will not be conforming to the EIA/TIA 568A & 568B Standard. This is not true. There is a circuit board (pictured below) that converts the simple pin formation on the rear of the connector to the EIA/TIA 568A or 568B standard. Connecting the wiring as specified by the manufacturer and using the JACKEASY, EZ/HD 4-PAIR TERMINATION TOOL allows for an easy and time saving way to terminate Cat6 cables without having to fully separate wire pairs and punch down individual wires.
